I am SOOOO NOT surprised! How can anyone be surprised? Ahmejenehad is the Ayatollah's puppet.... Iran is a dictatorship. I knew before the election that Ahmejenehad would win... whether he won or not. What DID surprise me was that Iran was said to be having an election... What DID surprise me was that the reformists actually believed they had a chance to change things. I completely understand their desperation and need for change... but it's just not possible in a dictatorship. Ahmejenehad was NOT elected... He was declared the winner by the Ayatollah. They use Western buzz words like "election" and "landslide victory" to appease the West and to try to dupe the West into thinking they are a nice democracy. But, as is usually the case, we are not fooled. At least, I'm not... and I would hope that many, many others are not.

to be honest i dont really care about who won the election, what i do care about is that people in iran are so angry that he got elected they dident want him to win, right now im in iran and many protesters are being shot and injured and fighting, im a forighner here so its hard for me to understand whats actually going on!

Ahmadinejad winning is not a surprise. These elections are not real, they are just done as props for the masses.

As for the protest that is expected as well since Obama is in office.

If you actually took a look at Iran before the Iraq war it was on the verge of collapse. Basically the political climate for change there was large. The government was expected to turn and reform of its own free will.

That was till good old George W stepped in and began bombing the middle east left and right. It scared people and they of course gathered around the Ahmadinejad because he promised protection. Of course now his actions seem odd since Obama isn't threatening him and the people realize he has no right be acting the way he is.

Fight for your freedom Iranians. Freedom to Iran.
The iranian government have constantly ignored Obama's helping hand to them,, it's no ones fault but their own. The iranian people don't want this, they want better relations with the west. They want freedom and freedom shall come soon.
Like Obama said, the protesters 'have been an
inspiration across the world'. It is their duty to stand up and fight for themselves and finally they are taking control of their rights. There voices will be heard. Now is the time. The time for change and freedom.

Look at these shocking pictures of riots and protests coming from inside Iran:

Here is a website showing hundreds of photo's from over the past few days:

Mass rioting, marches and protests, the people of iran want change for the better.
They care for the future of their country. Spread the word! Time for a Revolution, it's the only solution:

Internet services blocked, Cell phone access blocked, websites like facebook, youtube, and yahoo messenger have all been blocked.
Western Journalists are being arrested and having their tapes seized from them. Iranians need to know what's going on in their own country. The government have ordered the foreign media to leave at once. They have banned all forien journalists from reporting in Iran. No filming or photographing is allowed. And without reporters on the streets, the militia force are allowed to be brutal to the iranian people. People have been shot and killed. All this under the brutal regime.

Claims that Mousavi WON the election:

Iranian Force raid Tehran university and raid rooms beating students just for trying to send out messages via the internet to the outside world.

The majority of iranians oppose Ahmadinejad. They want freedom in their country and not a religious dictatorship and now they are finally taking this opportunity to stand up and fight for their rights no matter how long or how much it will take. The support from many across the world is overwhelming. They are not alone, The whole world is watching them. They have the support of many across the world.
You can keep uptodate with news regarding the situation on Twitter. I like many other people, have been posting links regarding information about what is happening inside Iran as because as you know they are being prevented access with information to the outside world.
Internet services blocked, Cell phone access blocked, websites like facebook, youtube, and yahoo messenger have all been blocked.

They deserve their voices to be heard and deserve there rights to protest without being murdered by this evil and corrupt regime led by, as many call, "the new satan" or Hitler-Ahmadniejad. They need to know. The world needs to know. And the amount of passion and courage they have shown is unbelievable. People risking their lives and being killed just by standing up and making themselves heard.

Keep up to date with the iran riot from people inside Iran on Twitter:

You do know the media is beign controlled by the government in Iran. They are preventing western journalists and the media from reporting and have even cut internet and cell phone acces from within Iran. People of Iran are being prevented access with information to the outside world. THEY NEED TO KNOW what's going on inside their own country!

Ahmadinejad is CORRUPT. The elections were rigged, a fraud. Down with the dictator.
toward a free democratic Iran.
Shame on Ahmadinejad.
The Iranian fascist government has deployed the Lebanon Hezbollah and the Basij thugs to do their dirty work for them. Down with the dictators. Death to Ahmadinejad and his supporters. Long live democracy. Salute to freedom. Long live Iranian activists

- Botsakis G - 03-27-2013 12:50 AM

What's the big deal?. Let the Iranians sort it out and solve their own problems.

Just last year, the dictator Robert Mugabe rigged the presidential elections in Zimbabwe to get himself re-elected. Riots broke out and thousands of anti-government protesters got killed. But I've never heard any American complaining about it.

- roxana a - 03-27-2013 12:50 AM

ok dude i hate that guy and im persian meaning im from iran. but no he sucks. oh to all the people were not freakin terroist ok gosh we never did anything to america so yea. suck it.

- boing3887 - 03-27-2013 12:50 AM

it seems probable that ahmadinajad's election was rigged. however, iranians want their own government, not one that is dictated to them by the US?

we should all remember that the mullahs came to power because the iranian people were so miserable under the shah, who was the kind of guy who tortured dissidents by electrocuting genitals until the genitals burned off - and the shah's secret police was trained by the CIA. this is all facts, by the way, look up "shah of iran" on google or something.

iranians want a genuine democracy like the one they had before the shah, which was when mossadegh was elected. unfortunately mossadegh was overthrown by the CIA. thus, though these demonstrations are a positive sign of some hopeful change within iran, we should all remember that ahmadinajad and the mullahs, bad as they are, are an improvement over the US-backed shah and that the US government probably does not want iran to have a genuine democracy.

finally, we should remember that everytime the US threatens iran with military attack the faction that supports ahmadinajad and other hard-liners grows, while the moderate democrats within the country shrink in power. just a few months ago Democracy Now! showed reformist activists within iran begging the US not to attack since that would lead to further repression within the society.

the best way to support iranian human rights at this point is for the US government to keep its hands out of the region.

Listen my opinions towards Iran's government are very strong i hate those people. all they ever want is everything for themselves. Ahmadinejad was definitely hand picked by homani. Musaivi ahnadinejad;s opponent basically has the same views as him i for one don't see why when their both have the same thoughts that people are be killed/ have riots for. Iran doesn't want to be ally with other countries because they think for some reason that they will be used as in their oil!!!!
