Something must be wrong with the server. I can access it from my phone, but not the laptop. Just keeps giving me a "server unavailable" message.

It could just be your browser acting up or a local facebook server that has issues. Try a different browser. If that doesn't work, reboot your computer to make sure the programs started correctly. If those couple of things make no difference, then I'd say it's facebook's problem. I've been on my FB account today, so I know they're still in business, even if they lost 1.4 million users last month.
