Is there a way to see who unfriends you on Facebook? - Jasmine - 03-27-2013 06:48 AM

I recently got a message from a friend on Facebook informing he was unfriending me because he didn't agree with somethings I was posting. That's all well and good and I don't care but it got me a bit curious lol. I'm beginning to wonder who else may have unfriended me on Facebook. I know on Twitter there's a way to find out who unfollows you but I'm wondering if there's a way for Facebook?

My brother told me there is an unfriend app that will tell you but don't know much more...

there is an app for that, but it wont tell you who in the past have unfriended you, it will only tell you about the people who unfriend you after you start using the app

No. But some clues I get is the number of friends tally changes, which can be see when i click on my profile and under the cover photo, to the right, where says friends. And when I scroll through my inbox messages, since I do not delete those, I see profile photos missing, as in they blocked me or they disabled their account. Even though they unfriend you, you still are subscribed to their news feed, which makes it hard to tell when they removed you in the first place unless you go to their page directly. They just choose to not look at yours.

There is an app called 'Who unfriended me?" ( https://apps.facebook.com/active_users/?fb_source=search&ref=ts&fref=ts ) and it appears to show who has been removed from your friendlist in the past, I get the sense, few months (just used it and it displayed my sister's name; do gooding cow {she is, not you}).

This app USED to display every single friend you have on one list, then all removed friends on a separate one.

This app doesn't appear to give indication of whether it was you or the other person who unfriended who (the app indicated my sister unfriended me - ie insinuated it with the wording - but I know I removed her), which could potentially be an issue if an argument ever started.

Copy the names of all of your Facebook friends now, and then later when you want to check it. If you see any names missing in your new list, you can tell who has unfriended you.

Of course, there are apps that can do this.

You can also memorize how many Facebook friends you have now, and when that number decreases, you can count the number of people who have unfriended you.

There is currently no feature made by Facebook that will allow you to see who unfriended you. There are programs and applications out there that advertise this sort of this, but are also unreliable and depending on the ones you click on could spam your account.
