Do you mean messages between you and the blocked person?
On Facebook, yes. But instead of your photo and name, it is a blank photo and no name.
So yes they can read it, but it no longer shows you as the sender.

They can still read personal messages you sent them, but they won't be able to see your profile or any of your posts.
