i had to erase the software because of a bug, and deleting it helped for my last bug and this time, the link to download it brings me to a grey page and sits there. it never downloads. 10 points for helping!

If you have another computer, try downloading it on that, putting it on USB, and installing it on your main PC. If that won't work, contact Elgato support which they must have rather Twitter, Facebook, or Email. They must have rather their own download or they will notice and fix it.
