Hi dudes. I've a wordpress blog with some visitors, 4.742 unique visitors and 5.190 visits last 30 days. Not really popular but not verry worse but I have a forum but it's empty. My site/forum is in dutch, NL has only 16 millons of citizens. But how can I make my forum popular? my Forum is based on BBpress. My forum url is http://rubenstadman.com/forum/

To make your blog/forum popular you need a lot of traffic.
Here are some ideas for getting traffic to your blog/forum:
- PPC (like google adwords)
- Video Marketing (especially via YouTube)
- here at Yahoo! Answers
- do SEO
- submit articles
- Squidoo and Hubpages
- Forum and Blog commenting
- Craigslist
- Social Networking and Bookmarking
- email marketing
- Ad Swaps / Solo Ads

I had the same problem. What I did? I posted some questions related to the topic of my blog. And I displayed the latest forum topics in the sidebar of my theme. This helped me.
