What is the proper way to set up a shot when filming a Stand Up Interview? - Jonathan W - 04-16-2013 12:21 AM I'm filming a documentary style social experiment for my Media class, I was just wondering What the best way to set up a shot for a stand up interview would be. We will most likely be filming off the shoulder for the majority of the video. - William - 04-16-2013 12:29 AM http://www.youtube.com/user/jonvideo#p/u/14/jIGEdZ1XuHk - Harbinger - 04-16-2013 12:29 AM Just below the shoulders at an angle from the interviewer so that the responder is looking at the other person but still facing the lens. A slight 3/4 profile gives the face more modeling. - Isabelle - 04-16-2013 12:29 AM Plain white background will do, just rely on the tripod for a sneak preview of the results. 2-4 inches below the shoulder is fine, just don't have it completely centered like a framed picture for it will appear dull. |
