I would look into actual experience in a school rather than social media. It will better prepare you and make you more credible in your endeavors. If for whatever reason you don't want to go to school to teach, you may consider volunteering in an area where you would like to put your school as well as some schools that are effective. When you look at effective schools, always look at how they choose their students, parent participation, teacher requirements, etc. make friends with a few teachers and principals.
Look up different methodologies, pedagogy, the foundations of education, the sociocultural foundation of education, etc. How will you feed the kids? What will your school offer that is special?
All in all, what is most efficient is usually not most effective.
Look on yahoo groups and google groups.
