Ok, I just installed the facebook app on my iPod touch and facebook messenger. But people are not seeing the phone icon next to my name just the offline status! People still see me online if I turn on the chat on my iPod, but even with facebook messenger! It just turns on the chat! When I send someone a message it will say what it's sent from, but still no phone icon! Please help! Tell me what do I need to do.

I think you have to be logged in Facebook and turn the chat off. That should work.
