I want to sue this business !? - BB Parker - 04-16-2013 09:59 AM

I took out a payday loan about a month ago. I happen to become unemployed again cause my job was seasonal. I spoke with the payday loan company and adviced them ill make the payment as soon as I can. They have been trying to contact me but I have not been responding as I should. My phone breaks on New Years Eve and I was out of a phone for about a week. When I get another phone I see that the company has posted to contact then on one of my Instagram photos ! I also run a business online where I sale hair extensions and 90% of my business and advertising comes from Facebook and Instagram. The comment said " John Doe the is Jan from Cash U please call us ASAP at xxx-xxx-xxxx

I feel that this was very unprofessional and it have hurt the success of my business. Would I be untitled to anything if I was to sue?

You could sue, but you would not win. When you put yourself out there on social media - it's an open invitation. Big companies spend zillions just trying to "manage" their on line reputation. You also made it a little difficult for them to reach you,

These pay day loan people are not nice. Try to pay this off ASAP and do whatever you can to stay away from them in the future. If that means working a few nights a week in a restaurant or supermarket - so be it.
