I've found Malwarebytes (free) to be quite effective. - My only the suggestions are get a paid antivirus, and don't use Norton.

USE BIT DEFENDER ANTIVIRUS it is safe best high detection fast scan automatic updates is in paid best but if you want free then avast. TAKE CARE

get avast, use its boot antivirus scan. It works all the time and well. It takes a while but it gets the job done with the best results. Go into safe-mode, disable all start up programs by msconfig to make sure all viruses get deleted and don't replicate, then install avast, set up net boot up scan, the reboot the follow the on screen instructions. The will take a while, it is the best way to make sure your computer is clean.

I would download a free trial from Webroot - http://www.webroot.com/En_US/consumer-trials.html - run a scan, get your machine all cleaned up and then don't worry about a thing ...Smile
