Facebook Video Calling now setting up on mac? - Mads - 04-25-2013 01:43 PM
I just got a macbook pro and am trying to download facebook video calling on mozilla firefox. When i try to install it, I keep getting the following message...
"You can't open the application "facebookvideocallingsettup_v1.2.205.0(1).exe" because microsoft windows applications are no supported on OS X."
What do I do?

ugh, it sounds like they are directing you towards the wrong plug-in! I don't know how to fix this but I can tell you that I also had an IMPOSSIBLE time setting up FB video calling on my Mac as well. It just kept asking me to install the video calling plug-in over and over. I think it's still really buggy. Anyway, I found a good workaround – the Rounds video chat app. It's a third-party app on there but it works really well so far – http://apps.facebook.com/chatrounds/conv/?publisherid=elena&campaignid=YA&bannerid=0
