Me and my ex have just made up (not get back together but decided to be civil) so I accepted his friend request on Facebook and was mindlessly going through his news feed when I liked a status by accident! My face has gone BRIGHT red, when I unlike it does it show up in his notifications or can I just die of embarrassment now hahah?

Haha this happened to me a couple times..Once you Disliked the status or comment, his notification of you Liking it Disappears instantly

Aww don't be embarrassed Hun all woman has been through this. If you liked it then unliked it it shouldn't come up because you don't like it no more. If it did when he looked and saw you didn't he will think his facebook may be not working. Hope this helped

Exact same happened to me once, but unfortunately it was on my phone and it slipped on the like button on a girls bikini photo. Awkward isn't it, don't worry about a thing if you unliked it. It takes about 10 seconds for someone's like to register then another few to send the notification to the person who made the status. You will be fine.

yeah it will show up but wen he's going to click dat notif. it will bring him to da status dat u liked but wont see u in the likes ^_^

If you unlike it before he sees the '(Your name) liked your status' notification', you will be fine because the notification will delete... That's if he hasn't already seen it

If they were offline when you liked and then unliked it you will face no problems
If they were online when you liked it, it would show up in their notifications and when they click on that it will take them to the status update and they will see no likes on it and immediately know that you liked their status
But as soon as you unlike it it will disappear from their notification
So as you can see anything could've happened..
If you don't wanna see his status updates disable his posts from appearing in your news feed
