one good point is that Face Book makes a ton of use of "Flash" and "Java" if you do not have the latest updates then it will crash.
How do you get the latest updates to Flash? one easy way is to update your browser, Internet Explorer 8 was just released and has all the bells and whistles you need to access the modern uses of web sites.
