I know on the old facebook it had the "How You Connect" tab under privacy, but I can't find that anymore. Is there any way in which I can disable people from searching for me? Or at least selecting "Friends Only" can search for me? Thanks!

Disable public search.
1. Login to Facebook
2. Click the down-arrow beside home and then choose privacy settings
3. Beside ‘Ads, Apps and Websites’, click on edit settings
4. Beside public search click on edit settings
5. unchecked the check box to disable public search
6. Click ‘OK’ and your done
