My navigation's text is centered, but would like to include social media icons on the right in the navigation bar. Can this be done in CSS?

Indeed it can. Give the navigation bar a DIV, then the text a DIV and the images a DIV. Give the widths of each and then float the images to the right.
Have you got your code so I could take a look at it for you?
