Is it possible to remove something from a search engine - like google? - kjay - 04-27-2013 07:37 AM

If i go to goole images and type my name in, it brings up my facebook picture - not even my current profile pic, and older one. Now is there any way to make it so this doesnt come up? All my facebook privacy settings are on the highest setting, so noone is supposed to be able to see anything except friends.

For what purpose you use the search engine , think..

you use it to search things and if something comes and you want to remove it, impossible.

everybody depends on it for some knowledge..

note: if it hurts you dont blame me..

hope this helps..

Only a site owner can request google to remove an index entry, you will have to lodge a complaint with Yahoo.

If you can edit html code on a page, like a blog, you can ad tags that instruct the google spiders to not index or remove the page, which wold happen the next time a page index is attempted.

Google help page on this.
