Why do my customised apps keep disappearing on yahoo toolbar? - ashley - 04-27-2013 09:41 AM
I set up apps for YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn and UK Business Forums. All seems good for a day or so, but then they suddenly disappear and I have to add them again.
Any suggestions?

You probably signed out of Yahoo! or were automatically signed out/timed out and your buttons reverted to the default set.
On some browsers, the Y! Toolbar will revert to a default set of buttons when you sign out of Yahoo!. It also depends on how the "Save my Yahoo! Toolbar layout and settings..." option is set. You can find this by clicking on the gear icon at the right side of the Y! Toolbar and selecting "Toolbar Preferences".
Try signing on to Yahoo! and see if your custom buttons re-appear. There is a checkbox on the sign in page that keeps you signed in until you explicitly sign out. You may want to use that option.
