He asked me out over text, and then he never really asked me he told me he loved me then I got a notification saying he wanted to make it a life event on Facebook. I want to break-up with him, but how?

yup sounds like a guy, why do you want to break up with him just cause he says he loves you and has feelings for you? Sound like a jerkish move here.. unless you really dont like him? why did you go out with him in the first place? just let him know how you feel and be honest with him why you're breaking up with him if you do it
