I'm travelling the world with my iPad and need to be able to update and download apps. I'm currently in Mexico and get this error message "Your account is not valid for use in the Mexican store. You must switch to the UK store before purchasing". My UK iTunes account is linked to my bank cards so can't understand why it doesn't want to process it through and allow me to download and update apps?

The iTunes store always localizes whenever you travel from your home country. The best thing to do is to sign up for a VPN (virtual private network). When I was traveling in China I used a VPN so that I could access Facebook and update my apps. The one I used is called VPN Express. They give you 300MB free and then you can purchase an additional 30 days of service for $.99 and up to 2GB of additional bandwidth.
