How to remove the timeline on Facebook? - mahal qoh.... - 04-28-2013 04:23 PM

I sign up for the timeline a week ago and now i don't like the timeline and i want the old version back and i try the website https://developers.facebook.com/apps but .... there not even a
"edit App" thing in the left side so is there a other way to delete it ? and not deleting your whole account ????

Currently there isn't a way to get rid of timeline, hopefully in the near future facebook will put in an option to change it back...

There's no way to remove it. Although for the moment Facebook did not make a clear statement in any of its official pages about how the upgrade would be deployed, and as a consequence there is a lot of false information going around, experienced users know that Facebook upgrades of this size have never been optional.

Besides, there are clear evidences that indicate that there will be no way to go back to the old Profile. Take a look at the article in the source to see what those evidences are.

Use Mozilla Firefox as your browser, and in the "Tools" menu, you will see something called "Default User Agent." Choose Internet Explorer 7 from the drop-down menu. This will trick Facebook into thinking you are using IE7, which is not compatible with the new timeline format, and it will default back to the old layout.

This probably won't work indefinitely, but it's working for now.

Actually you can't. There's only one method to remove the Facebook Timeline but some might not like it: http://www.vectorash.ro/how-to-disable-or-remove-facebook-timeline/
