How can I promote my site for FREE or Cheap? - Max - 04-28-2013 06:49 PM
Hey guys. I have a Social Networking Website. (can't say the name, yahoo will delete my question) But, I don't have to much money to pay for promoting it on like google ads, or what ever. So do you know how I can get people to know about it, and to sign up for it? If you do Please tell me, I just don't know what else to use! Thanks.

The best way I have found to get things promoted fast and easy (free too) is to join a tribe. TribePro is the tribe I use to get my content promoted by a bunch of people to different sources.
The other free options I use are promoting in relevant facebook and linkedin groups. Be sure they are relevant, or you will get booted.

You can try and make it go viral by getting some legitimate users and making them email spam all their friends through the site.
Social networking sites, hence the social usually spread through person-person contact.

You could also write articles about your site and optimize them for keywords related to your site and submit them to article directories like ezinearticles.com and streetarticles.com.
