Normally it Says they are trying to reach u and it gives All details. Does it have to do with using apps insted..

usually thats spam and some time it contains virius so go on fb and change your setting to only send to fb

the app is posting as the person, because the person gave permission to the app to do that
the reason the app wants to do that is to make the app more popular, and therefor make more money
dont believe that your friend is actually posting the things you are seeing
