Paranormal activity, real or fake? - TiPP - 04-29-2013 12:22 PM

Are paranormal activity movies (or should I say, documentaries.) real or fake? I just watched Paranormal Activity 4 and I was amazed at how real it was. (looked?) Is it just a simulation of a typical American family or is it real?

Thank you.

PS : Be nice! Smile

All the Paranormal Activity movies are completely fictional and just Hollywood magic.

it was fake, like all of them

They're all fake. If you watch the first one you'll notice more flaws, because it was just a film studies project to start with. Smile I know it seems a bit weird how they do it, but they want it to look real. But don't worry, that creepy little kid won't come after you!

All the Paranormal activity films are fictional. Just to prove that I will give you a little history on the first film. If my memory serves me; it was originally released on the social media site Myspace. The original ending for the first film, the better ending in my opinion, was of the girl Katie crying after she'd just knifed her husband. The police show up and arrest her...but in the official theatrical release the ending was changed to what you probably saw so that they could make sequels.

Real life doesn't change to make more movies. Hope I set your mind to rest.

Also, if you want to see a real paranormal documentary you should keep an eye out for a film called "American Ghost Hunter: The Movie". It hasn't been released yet, but it is being shown at festivals. Again, I hope I helped.
