Send demos to music producers, upload videos and songs..

You needed lots of money. Katy Perry's and Rihanna's record companies pay $ 1 million to create and advertise (mostly for advertising) each song that is played on the radio. The person paying Justin Bieber's advertising bill is Jay-Z.

First, ask your self HONESTLY if you're any good. Listen to some good live performance of for example Rihanna and try measuring up to that. If you think you have any chance, then do this.

1. Upload videos to sites like, yes, YouTube and try 'advertising' it. You know, share it on Facebook, Twitter, and even YouTube in comments of the videos preformed by this famous artists or those a little less famous (think about it like this, if there's a music producer running down those comments looking for a new star, he'll find your comment and maybe consider looking at your video). Also have your friends share it, and watch it million times, just pressing that refresh button, so it reaches as much people as it can. Make those videos interesting, have some friend who understands computers and programing help you if you don't really know how to do it.
2. Send demos to music producers (recommend America).
3. Move! If you can't find any talent shows in India, and you want to sing in english so bad, you have to embrace the fact that you're gonna have to move and attend as many talent shows you can (again recommend America). The key is to find the right song for you, the one that points out your skills and advantages, and doesn't show your flaws. For example, if you can sing high and you're not really good in lows, pick out some Whitney Houston song (yes, I am thinking about I Will Always Love You) and amaze them with your voice that breaks the ceiling (oh my, am I a poet or what?)
4. And of course, be persistent. Don't give up.

Best of luck.
