It's locked me out, saying that I might be infected with a virus, but I already have anti virus.

I wouldn't trust that message, sounds mighty suspicious
since they locked you out rather than simply giving you
an option to install McAfee, or not to install it.
Besides your AV program, you might consider also installing:
SuperAntiSpyware (Free Edition)
http://www.superantispyware.com/superantispywarefreevspro.html/
and/or
Malwarebytes
just for the additional security they provide.

You are already infected. The virus is trying to trick you into downloading a fake antivirus software. DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT.

If you can still access facebook, it isnt legit..try to log in again, close and re-open your browser, or perhaps try a different browser

yes it is legit, but you can ignore if you have one already.
