Every time one of my friends on Facebook updates their status,shares a picture, comments on your status,writes on your wall,etc.... i get notifications on my email. It gets really annoying.

All you have to do is mark them as spam, they will stop appearing.
Its noted in the terms and agreements that they can send you emails.

it is by your Fb settings.

Its very simple just go your Facebook privacy setting then click on notification then edit on email just unsubcribed.
