They don't pay as much as the middle class.
Because they have clout, they have lobbyists working to bring their tax bill down.
The middle class are a mass of unsophisticated hard workers who keep their heads down an don't protect democracy.

The top 10% of the wealthiest pay 75% of the taxes.
FORTY percent of Americans pay NO income tax, yet they collect benefits from a variety of social programs.
FLAT TAX FOR ALL.

well, we have some dummies answering. The top 5% pay 95% of the taxes. The bottom 30% pay no taxes. That leaves the middle paying 5% of the taxes.
