I was able to stand not contacting this guy for 1 year. But I slipped up and messaged him on facebook last week because I was going thru a tough time. He didn't reply to my message and I feel embarrassed and rejected again
What should I do?

Nothing and stop beating yourself up. Block him and don't think about what he thinks or what his reply might be because it's all pointless
