i hear a lot of news like this these days, why?

The Chinese hate the Japanese, mostly because the Japanese never apologized for the atrocities they carried out in WW2.

Because the PRC government likes to offer up foreigners scapegoats to suffer the consequences of its own failings.

There is a disagreement about the ownership of some islands, things are getting heated in the media and social media online as generally people in China do not like Japanese, this results from things which the Japanese did to China and Chinese people many years ago but were so atrocious that they are not forgotten by many Chinese people also during the past 50 or so years the Japanese crimes have been talked about and blame has been passed on to Japanese now for certain problems in the country had in the past.
Japan has also never apologised for what it did during the war and the leaders of Japan even visit a war memorial, which to many Chinese seems as if they are celebrating the rape and murder of hundreds of thousands of Chinese people.
This is a long standing old tension between these 2 eastern neighbours but it is boiling up as China becomes more assertive and stronger people feel they have a right to make claims on what they feel is theirs (the diaoyu islands). Also at a time of world economic strife it is in the current Chinese governments interest to allow people to discuss these issues, as it takes focus off any possible problems at home.

Why does the Communist chinese government keep arresting christians on trumped up charges all the time?What are they scared of??They have just done it again over the doomsay prophecy, which is another trumped up charge as christians do not beleive the end of the world is 21/12
