Why is our media paying little attention to whats happening in Tunisia? - dbacksfan01 - 05-02-2013 06:19 PM

I for one think this is really big news. I have seen fox report on it here and there but it is just played off as social disorder (as all uprisings against the ruling class are) rather then a revolution. Ben Ali has been ran out of the country and every government attempt to compromise with a new government that would still be similar to the Ali regime has been met with more workers striking. It seems like global support for this uprising is pretty high as well to those who are informed.

So why do you think our media has given this limited coverage?

It's getting plenty of coverage in Europe.Your media wants the people to be compliant so only feeds you on a need to know basis.

you said it yourself, to minimize the curiosity of sensitive people to the issue, time is ripe for revolution especially england, france and belgium just a brief example together with Netherlands. europe is highly fed-up of these people who created a lot of problems to our culture, they created a lot of hatred by behaving uncivilized towards european citizen that all they long for is that they go back to where they come from. its not normal for a european citizen to find himself in the street with no lodging while these people are being lodge freely on the charge of the governments where the money they use for these undesirable people is our money what we sweat for. its not normal that if they are upset and unsatisfied they go and smash people in the street and when they get the return back they go and manifest passing themselves as the victim when they know they are the creators of Provocations and criminals. its not normal that those bloody responsible of the government instead of caring their own people who put them on their throne sides terrorists instead of those whose paying their salary, so the media is doing their work as it should be dictated by the government to avoid revolution, french people are frustrated that bedidn't didnt land in france, some revolutionaries minded are waiting for that, the arabs will manifests and start breaking things in the country then french revolutionaries will enter to the scene and use this as an excuse to ignite the revolution bdidn't didnt materialize, sarkozy felt the tension .

Your premise is false. The media has reported the situation frequently. The old leader fled, and a new government was formed. There you go.

Because WikiLeaks gave the impetus for the Tunisians to throw out their Dictator.

The Media and the Government doesn't want the people to think they can make up their own minds.
