I know that videos uses the most. Are there any other common sources that use more or less?
Also, can you rank the common uses for internet in terms of most data on top to least data on bottom?
For a laptop and desktop.

The web browser takes up a lot of memory. Chat room software takes up a lot of it also.
But the Operating System Files take up more disk space than anything else.

If the internet connection is very fast then you will reach your data usage limit pretty quickly. Some of the activities which consume data usage relatively faster are:
1. Streaming movies through an Internet-based company.
2. Streaming music through an Internet-radio application.
3. Games, especially the ones that require an Internet connection or run ads.
4. Uploading photos, etc., to social-media sites.
