How far would 100MB get me on my cell phone? - Nicks_World - 05-02-2013 11:36 PM I have T-mobile's 100MB messaging bundle and I want to know how far it would get me a month. The main sites I use are Faceboook, yahoo mail, and Twitter. - Maxwell A. - 05-02-2013 11:52 PM You should be good for moderate use. All those sites have low-bandwidth-consuming mobile browser versions. To give you an idea of how much 100mb is... here in Canada, only 2 people have ever gone over 500mb in a given month. So if you check those sites just a couple of times per day, you should be fine. If you want to be really safe, call T-Mobile and ask them if they can turn on an alert so that you're sent a text message or something when you come close to your data limit. You can also check the amount consumed so far online, by logging into your T-Mobile account. I.e. if after 2 days, you've used 4.7mb, you're doing alright. |
