Facebook Messaging Problem? Can you help me please? - Samantha - 05-03-2013 08:50 AM

Okay, so I deactivated my account on Facebook. I then decided that I didn't want to delete it. So, I logged back on the same day. My messages and everything on Facebook gets sent to my phone. There's a problem here, though. Now, after that deactivation happened, I can no longer receive messages on my phone telling me that I have a message on Facebook. It's really super annoying, since I've had my FB for 3 years now, and I don't want to delete it or make a new one. These messages are the only way my boyfriend and I can text while I'm in school, or when I can't get on FB. I also looked in my settings, it says that I have them sent to my phone, and I have unlimited texts a day. I'm really confused, and if anyone can help me figure this out, that'd be great. Thank you!

The problem occurred because of the deactivation. You should reactivate the mobile text. You can go to the Mobile tab of your Account Settings page (from a computer) to activate mobile texts again, made changes and then click on the notification tab on the account settings. here you can edit the notifications you want to receive in your mobile as text.Keep in mind that you can do these only using a computer.
