it's a torrent search engine, i want some help to promote my website so that lot's of traffic comes without much/no investment.

If you want to promote your web site you should start with good SEO, there's a buch of directories in the WWW that are free and where you can submit your URL. another option is link exchange to other good web sites,when you do this, search engines send their robots to crawl in this big web sites and ended up crawling the other web sites linked to them this way your web site start gaining rank in the first places of the internet.
Another option is joining to social networks such as twitter and facebook because every time you refresh your twits in twitters case you can also add links to your web site.
Or build a blog where you can maintain a constant contact with your followers and send them fresh information about the new material they are able to download from your site.
