ok I have just created a new survival YouTube,facebook,blogger, and twitter account all linked together with the same username and all, if I create good videos and edit them will would it be possible to ask people for donations to help with the costs of production?? like what's the chances of people donationing? can you make much money with ads?

Probably pretty slim. Your best option is to make money with advertising, which can take a long time. You need tens of thousands of video views to even start making somewhat decent money. Just post videos people want to watch, and hopefully you'll get some ad revenue from it.
You can also try hosting your own websites, and make money through adsense and affiliate marketing. You can host websites really cheaply these days, and they give you the best chance to make money. You can find really cheap hosting at the following link:
