Jadeveon Clowny has 32K followers on twitter and isnt verified, while Davin Meggett (out of maryland, now on the practice team for the colts) has just 2200 and is verified. now i know its not the number of followers you have on twitter that gets your verified but Meggett was verified right after he stopped playing college ball.

I do not think college players can be verified until they are out of college. It somehow voids the NCAA rules
