I really want to edit my settings so people can not search me by name on Facebook. However, under privacy settings it only gives me the option to stop people from looking me up by my email and phone number. It also gives me the option to stop search engines from linking my timeline.
In this article, under the privacy settings section it shows a screen shot of what the "Who can look me up" section should look like. I am missing the "Who can look you up by name" option. http://internet-safety.yoursphere.com/2013/01/facebooks-new-privacy-settings/
Did this option get deleted? Can someone please help me! I keep getting unwanted friend requests from random people I don't know!

yeah that's not there anymore. what you can do though is go where it says who can send you friend requests, and just put that to friends of friends. that way, they won't be as random.
