Why are all these connections suddenly untrusted? - Sanny - 05-05-2013 02:35 PM

I use Mozilla firefox on my home desk top to go on facebook, etc. normally, but recently, i've been getting messages saying that the connection is untrusted and that there may be someone trying to tamper with my connection.

that creeps me out to the extreme. do i have a virus or something?

I cannot say whether or not you have a virus (or spamware) on your computer -- only a virus/malware check will tell for sure.

This web page will tell you what exactly the message means and how you can interpret technical information about the warning: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/This+connection+is+untrusted

humm.. not sure. If you have gotten a message or email from a "friend" or contact on your email accout, facebook, myspace, etc. & it asks you to click on a link of some sort, then yes its a virus. It happened to me yesterday and crashed my laptop and now my laptop wont even turn on. I suggest changing all of your passwords and running an anti-virus thing. good luck.
