How do I get traffic to my websites? - Michael - 05-06-2013 08:08 AM

I have a couple of really cool websites I built but I don't know how to get people to visit them. How do most websites get high traffic? The websites I'm trying to promote are below:

http://FreeCommentScript.com
http://WebPollGenerator.com
http://RcMeatball.com

I figured people would learn about them from word of mouth or search engines but that doesn't seem to be working. I been watch my site metrics and I only get about 1-2 visitors a day. :-(

Please help!
I also don't have a very big spending budget, otherwise I would pay a SEO company or use an adwords account.

Add more lengthy text to improve the chances of getting search hits. Sites with quality original content get higher search ranking, your RC store should have introductory paragraphs for categories and reworked product descriptions, not the exact same specs text 1000 other sites use. Your utilities sites could use a longer What It's For introduction for novices, again improving the chance of coming up ion searches as well.

I'm sure your hip to the need of search keywords appearing on the site and the need for backlinks from site with some ranking. There are tools you can sue to track your keyword ranking, it pays to pour it on with more anchor text backlinks and content for keywords that are almost onto page.

You could use either the free rankchecker for firefox http://www.link-assistant.com/rank-tracker/ to generate a search ranking report for the list of keywords, the latter has some other analysis functions.
