Is there a way to only receive messages on Facebook from people on your friends list? - Gabrielle - 05-06-2013 08:58 AM

Has Facebook taken this option off? I remember awhile ago they had this feature but I can't find it anymore. I'm getting harassed by an old bf and he is blocked but he makes fake pages jus to threaten me.

You have to set your profile to "private". Then no one who is not your friend can comment or even search for you. You need to go to "privacy settings" and change your settings to "friends only".

File a police report. Harassment and threats are illegal.

Facebook is a social networking site that allows you to interact with your friends in many ways. One way to interact with a select group of your Facebook friends is by creating friend lists. A friend list lets you send messages to a specific set of friends simultaneously or keep track of updates from only that group of friends. You can create many different friend lists to suit your needs, such as "Family," "Work," "College," "Church" or however you want to divide your friends up.
