We live in a society. Society has norms and rules that dictate how to live among other people. Don't believe everything you watch on tv.

well the 4 main agents of socialization are
1. Family(most infulance)
2.school(lots of infulance,but not more than family)
3.peers
4.mass media...(why do girls want to be skinny? media)!!!!
religion is also an institution since it was socialized to u most likely by ur family which is the main infulance....since ur family told u to go to church on sunday since u were 5..
