Successful Marketing Plan...? - Britney - 05-06-2013 01:34 PM

Okay so in my class my teacher wants us to pick an artist and create a marketing plan. We have to talk about our marketing plan for 10 minutes and create a print ad. and use social media. I asked him but I still don't understand the project so, can someone please explain to me what to do for this? Thanks!

A couple of tips for your project.

1) Pick an artist you know well. (I assume you're talking about music, but if it is fact artist pick an obvious one Van Gogh, etc.)
2) Analyze who their audience is (10 year old girls, 40 year old men, or absolutely everyone).
3) Think about what those individuals do throughout the day, what social media they use, and what other stuff they are interested in.
4) Plan out mock events where the artist might like movies or riding motorcycles and how you could have a plan for them to premier upcoming teen movies or star in a Harley Davidson commercial.

Hope these help!

Try and understand the jist of the project at least.
Then you can start to make a plan. make a simple but appealing ad. Then post about your product on Facebook, Twitter and other social channels in an interesting way. Make it interesting enough so that people will come and see it.
And also list the points which separate the product from the rest.
