One: My keyboard keeps locking up when I type, such as skipping letters and such.
Second: I'll type in certain websites, such as usps, yahoo, youtube or even facebook and it will redirect to some random page, like an ad or something of the sort. How can I solve this issue? Thanks.

Do you currently have an antivirus application? If not, use AVG FREE or some other paid program to avoid and solve such problems.

Update your anti-virus program and scan you entire computer else do a system restore

For keyboard issues you can check the keyboard control setting from control panel and make sure all settings are set to defaults.
If still not resolved make sure your system got the updated keyboard driver.
Check your browser settings and make sure the settings not been changed to restore to default settings follow these steps within IE browser go to tool >internet options>advanced>reset.
Restart your PC and if still not resolved go to microsoft to repair IE settings through MICROSOFT FIX IT. To do follow this link for mocrosoft website:
