I had a falling out with my bf; i deleted him but he still has our chat history on his fb messaging, as do I. Now he is blackmailing me with these messages which he said he plans to post on Facebook. The messages are sexual in nature from when we were dating. If i block him, will it delete our chat history? can someone please respond quickly
Would deleting my account and starting a new one help?

you may be able to delete it from YOUR history, but you can't delete it from his history.
this is why you should always consider anything that goes over the internet public.

You can click on his message and click on 'actions' and then 'delete conversation'. However this will only delete the chat history between you guys from your account. You can do the same from his account if you happen to have his password. This is the only way.
