Attending courses in person means that the knowledge you gain is limited to that of the instructor. When you're dealing with an unknown 3rd party, it's generally a good idea to learn from multiple teachers that have been vetted in real life.

You can check with the local business chamber for information on classes being taught on the subject. Local libraries may have events as well.
You don't have to limit yourself to going someplace in person. There are some good online courses that you can look at as well.
