How do I get rid of this Facebook Virus?!? - Sierra - 05-07-2013 07:01 PM
For the past week, randomly my facebook status will change to something I dont even post. It gets updated when im not even logged on and usually its something like "look at what I found" followed with a link. It is getting SO ANNOYING and all my friends complain to me about it to. I just want an end to it but Im not sure what to do! Please help!

BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING:
Do a virus-scan. This could be what's known as the Koobface worm. AFTER ANY VIRUSES HAVE BEEN REMOVED:
- Change your email password.
- Change your Facebook password.
- Clear your browser cache/cookies.

Try changing your password, or simply deleting your facebook account and make a new one.
If that doesn't work, try virus scanning your computer and see if it picks up any malware/spyware.
