Does Facebook require an ID when making a new account? - Hayden - 05-07-2013 11:22 PM

I had a Facebook and then they said that I needed to verify my identity by uploading an ID or birth certificate. I procrastinated doing it and eventually, Facebook just deleted my account altogether. If I create a new account with a different email address, will it require me to upload an ID again?

probably, yes, if you add the same friends and use the same name, because creating more than one account is against the rules, and that is how facebook prevents people from just ignoring the rules

That sounds...suspicious. I've never heard of FB requiring actual documents. Typically, they *may* require you to enter a phone number to contact you/send text message to, and you can only use this number on a single account. I would NOT start uploading actual documents to any site!
