You go to prom with a group of friends in a limo and you're the only one without a date. They decide to take pictures by a lake and you stand awkwardly odd to the side in the couples" pictures (guy standing behind girl). Like it's obvious.
They are facebook now..there is about 3 of them in total. They look really embarrassing...
If you saw that pic what would you think?

Yes, there's plenty more embarrassing things than that. It's your decision whether or not to go with a date or even if you want to be in the photos. If I was going to the prom alone with other couple I would take a funny picture. If I saw the picture I wouldn't think anything, I'd be too busy envying the girls dresses.

It's more embarrassing to you than it is funny to other people. If I was in your place, I'd
be embarressed too!! I can't say for sure though, I've never been in that situation.
Anyways, If I saw the picture I wouldn't really care. In most prom photos, i've seen at least
one or two people without dates. In fact I probably wouldn't notice haha.
