do you care about what's going on in other people's lives? - peaseblossom - 10-12-2012 12:32 PM

it seems like the majority of people these days are so obsessed with OTHER people. i mean, gossip and celebrities, twitter, facebook, reality tv... everyone wants to know everyone else's business.

i'm glad to say that i couldn't really care less. i have my own things going on and i don't need to worry about anyone else, besides my family and my BEST friends. i think i'd go crazy if i was one of those people who needed to know everything about everyone, or having people be that way about me. i don't have any type of social networking sites, a cell phone, etc. privacy is something i REALLY value. and besides, i'm sure people who are so obsessed with other people's lives don't have lives of their own anyway.

okay, this is more of a rant then a question ...what are your thoughts/opinions/etc?

I agree with you. To many people are wanting to live their lives so publicly and there are just as many people interested in other people's lives. Drives me crazy.

Can't stand celebrities.

Hate that my own brain is being tortured by "Electronic Harassment" and "Gang/Organized Stalking" and that I'm constantly trying to fight "Terror tactics, Brainwashing tactics and Mind control tactics" that I really can't be there for the friends I have. Not to mention, most can't understand what I am going through. Lucky I have a few that really know I am not making this up!

I don't , the media thinks otherwise. Before this high tech instant access internet info from all over the world we had, "Rag Sheets". Printed word gossip sheets. Who's doing what to whom and how often. Society has fed off gossip probably since the dawn of civilization. Now it's big business. Each network shamelessly competing to put the latest dirt on "famous" strangers the media put up on pedestals for our admiration, now they line up to tear them down. WOW ! What's right with this picture ? Capitalism at it's lowest form.

You shouldn't unless you are planning to ruin their lives.
